LAWRENCE HALL - SERENITY GARDEN
This therapeutic healing garden was designed for Lawrence Hall, a community agency that cares for abused and neglected youth and their families. A spiral path climbs up a low hill until it arrives at BlaamoO, a sculpture by John Adduci. Stone benches, reclaimed from local railroad bridge abutments, create spaces for solitude or respite when needed or gathering of larger groups when social interaction is desired. The centerpiece of the garden is a rainbow of flowering perennials from the deepest purples at the bottom to the hottest reds at the top.
